We'll be gathering again tonight, Sunday, Feb 24 at 8 pm Eastern Standard Time for another round of Tai Chi talk. Please join us.

As always, the subjects for discussion are open, and will depend on who shows up to participate, but here's a thought. The subject of Holding Postures has generated many comments recntly on the TCC Forum. But in addition to the physical posture, what goes on in one's mind seems even more important. Let's explore standing meditation.

Another idea: have you listened to the previous episode of TCPH? It's a monologue I recorded while doing my morning rounds. Call it a Tai Chi experiment. In the two weeks since I posted it, there have been more than 3000 downloads. I'd be interested in any feed back.you can offer.

Taking part is easier than ever. Simply telephone 1-724-444-7444 and select program #17095. There's no need to register, either in advance or at the time, and no cost to participate, other than any normal phone charges that may apply.

You can also log in via computer, either with streaming audio or using a VOIP system. Please note that TalkShoe has introduced new software called ShoePhone that lets participants join in with just one click on their computer. No registration, no long distance phone charges, no hassles. If you'd like more information visit www.talkshoe.com. To get direct e-mail reminders of the date, send a message to me at bear7015@comcast.net. Hope to speak with you soon.

In this edition of the Tai Chi Power, we pay homage to Professor Chen Man-ch'ing, who developed the 37-posture form that we practise. The one hour session will provide a good introduction those intersted in exploring his art. David Bear reads the 6 short chapters in his book T'ai Chi Ch'uan - A simplified Method of Calesthenics for Health & Self Defense, in which he succiently explains the basis of his philosophy and teachings.

Taking part in a future Tai Chi Powr is easier than ever. You can simply call 724-444-7444 and select program #17095. There's no need to register, either in advance or at the time, and no cost to participate other than any normal phone charges that may apply.
